Design triptych


This is a triptych I did for my design class in college. We were supposed to do one of each of three design subjects. Fantasy, Mechanical and Organic. Each piece is done with Sharpie markers and is about a foot squared.
If you notice, the design lines flow from the curve in Vader's helmet to the curves of the wrench and then on into the center line of the fern.

 Below are each of the pieces individually. We had to pick two to work on as separate triptychs... I chose the Fern and the wrench. The wrench went on to be my subject fo my final project in this series.

Lincoln in Color

This is a color version I did of the digital drawing I did of Abraham Lincoln. Using the drawing as a template, I added tone and color to round out the face more and jazzed up the background a bit to make it more interesting.This piece was created for my Digital Art class in college and was printed out and mounted to a hard matte backing.
